| Classes and Grades: | BREED: KUSA NATIONALS ELIGIBILITY: KUSA National Puppy: For dogs under twenty-four (24) months of age on the day of the Show, which have been awarded “Best Puppy in Show†at an All-Breeds Club Championship Show (excluding FCI Shows). KUSA National Dog: Only Champions of record are eligible to enter. Champion Certificate or KUSA Letter of Confirmation must have been issued before closing date. KUSA NATIONAL HANDLERS COMPETITION: Adult Handler: Open to all Handlers over 18 years of age. No person may enter both the Junior Handler Class and the Adult Handler Class. 12h00 - Prelims (with own dog): after completion of all Group Judging for KUSA Nationals Breed. SHORTLIST TO 4 Finals: With National Finals on Saturday PM Child Handler: For persons of eight (8) but under twelve (12) years of age on the day of the National Competition, who have qualified to enter in terms of Regulation 5 of Schedule 05E(12). By invitation only. Upon completion of Adult Handler Prelims. Prelims (with own dog) SHORTLIST TO 4 Finals: With National Finals on Saturday PM Junior Handler: For persons of eleven (11), but under eighteen (18) years of age. Only open to Handlers whose eighteenth (18th) birthday does not fall on or before 1st June, 2024. By invitation only. Upon completion of Child Handler Prelims. Prelim (with own dog but will swap dogs during judging) SHORTLIST TO 4 Finals: With National Finals on Saturday PM All National Handler Winners will be presented with their awards on completion of the final judging KUSA NATIONAL FINAL AWARDS PROGRAMME TO BE ADVISED CLOSER TO SHOW DATE. | ** Each Show will run until completion of Bests In Show on each day ** This Show awards the titles of "KUSA National Dog" for Breed & Dog Sport Disciplines Catalogues will be posted on the morning of each Show on Breed Exhibitor WhatsApp Group - https://chat.whatsapp.com/GLdYm4xvxZQBLqud7DzATH. No catalogues will be sold on the day. Results will be available on Show Assist after each Show. DOG SPORT: Provisional running orders for all Shows will be posted on the official Dog Sport Exhibitor WhatsApp Group 24 hours after closing date for all queries to be resolved. Final running orders will be posted on the morning of each Show on Dog Sport Exhibitor WhatsApp Group - https://chat.whatsapp.com/HWL8dxcAIKk15rcARPxI2e. No changes to any running orders will be made once final orders have been published. Course Walking: Handlers are expected to be at their ring when marshalled in order to ensure the timeous running of the individual Shows. This may mean that handlers have to walk more than one course before competing with their dog/s in any/all of the rings. There will only be ONE course walk allowed, if you are competing in a different discipline, please ensure that you make arrangement to attend the course walks. | |||

| No Camping is allowed at the venue. No open fires will be permitted. Benching will be permitted from 14h00 on Wednesday, 29th May 2024, provided the rings are set up – confirmation will be communicated via the Breed & Dog Sport Exhibitors' WhatsApp Groups as per links above. Emergency areas must be kept clear at all times. These areas will be clearly demarcated and also indicated on the ring plan. No gazebos or benching allowed in emergency areas. All exhibitors, owners/handlers/agents of dogs are advised that they and any exhibit entered in any event over the KUSA Classic Weekend may be photographed for, by, and/or on behalf of, KUSA, for the use and possible publication of such photographs by KUSA. Due to time constraints, no posed photography will be permitted in the Main Ring. A special area for the taking of photographs will be provided outside the ring. The KUSA website, KUSA Classic 2024 Facebook Page and KUSA Classic 2024 WhatsApp Groups are the only communication media officially recognised by the Show Committee. Public catering will be provided at all Shows and events.
