If the Tests should be cancelled, entry fees will be refunded. 10. The Test Committee reserves the right to change the advertised venue of the Tests if this becomes necessary due to fire, flooding, etc, at the time of the event. SA-Derby Test (SA-D) is for dogs from five (5) months not exceeding eighteen (18) months of age, dating from and inclusive of the date of its birth on the first day of the test. It is a young dog natural ability test. 2. SA-Novice Test (SA-N) is for dogs from five (5) months of age without restriction as to upper age. The SA-Novice Test is an introductory versatile test for novice dogs and/or handlers. 3. SA-Older Dog Elite Test (SA-AZP) is designated for Dogs from two (2) years of age. However, dogs under the age of two (2) are eligible to enter the test but will receive a specific designation of “Youth” (Y) if passed. The SA-AZP is an advanced ability and performance test DEFINITION OF THE TESTS: 1. SA-VJP (Youth Hunting Test) is for dogs from six (6) months not exceeding eighteen (18) months of age, dating from and inclusive of the date of its birth on the first day of the test. It is a young dog natural ability test. 2. SA-HZP / SA-OZP (Advanced Hunting Test / Older Dog Hunting Test) The priority of the S-HZP is the determination of the development of the natural abilities of the young dog in view of its suitability and future use as a Versatile Gundog. The test is forPointing Breeds under 2 years of age without restriction as to previous performance. The SA-HZP was developed to evaluate the natural abilities of a young dog, especially order to identify the best dogs for breeding and rate the breeding quality of their parents. For this reason, the test is open to dogs up to an age of two (2) years. If dogs due to unforeseen circumstances can’t be tested before turning two (2) years, they are allowed to run the test to a maximum age of six (6) years. In that case the test will be named SA-OZP (Older Dog Hunting Test) Although older dogs can be tested for the sake of breeding excellence and comparability, every effort should be made to test the young dog, before it turns two (2) years. 3. SA-VGP (Utility Hunting Test) is a performance test for Pointing Breeds with the aim to produce dogs for the ethical conduct of hunting and to foster the knowledge of training and handling of these dogs in the hunting community. The test has no restriction to age. 4. SA-VPS (After Shot Hunting Test) is a performance test for all Gundog breeds with the aim to produce dogs for the ethical conduct of hunting and to foster the knowledge of training and handling of these dogs in the hunting community. The test has no restriction of age.
